Honeysuckle 2 gourd Rattle with inlay

This Honeysuckle Rattle has 2 gourds and measures 10.5 inches. The Honeysuckle handle has beautiful natural surface features and has been adorned with stone inlay at it’s base. Here I used blue-green Peruvian Chrysocolla and dark blue Lapis Lazuli.

The two gourds have been intentionally placed in an interesting configuration. They retain their naturally mottled color, are filled with popcorn and topped with a tiny Cedar dowel. Their chorus of sound is high pitched, bright and crisp.
